Keloray AL Series looks like a whole lot of light!

Lighting manufacturer Keloray has produced a panel light that has made us really sit up and take notice. It’s called the AL Series Coral Light and it comprises two models – the AL200 and AL150, in relation to their maximum energy usage – 200 watts and 150 watts respectively. The AL200 is 450x450x16mm and weighs 4.5kg. The AL150 is 460x280x16mm, weighs 2.9kg, and both models come in either black or silver, and both can be either ceiling suspended or tank mounted. Tank mounting options are rare for large panel lights so it adds to the sleek-looking unit’s appeal from the offset.

The AL Series is passively cooled so no noise, and no fan means the added extra degree of IP65 waterproofing – meaning it’s protected from dust and water jets – two conventional LED light killers. Both are fitted with anti-glare beaded lenses and both have six app-controlled colour channels, sunrise and sunset, fixed spectrum presets, programmable spectrums and spectrum/account sharing. Channel A is Cool White, B, Royal Blue, C Sky Blue, D, UV 1 and UV2, E, Deep Red, and F, Green, and the AL200 and 150 are populated with a total of 224 and 144 diodes respectively.

We like the look of these lights, the colours, the mounting options, the passive cooling, the power, the proposed spread and hopefully, being Chinese, the price. They will be distributed in the UK by Ocean Sea Products and all the details we have so far are below.

The AL150 is priced at £720 and available for back order. We do not have a price on the AL 200.
