Aquaray P2 is a new Nano LED light from TMC
Tropical Marine Centre has expanded its new generation of Aquaray lights with the P2 Connect. At just 11.5cm x 11.8cm x 2.5cm the P2 is compact in size and power, using a maximum of 24 watts, but comes with all the features of its bigger brothers, the P5 and the P9, like Wi-Fi control via the Favia app, 10 presets and three controllable channels. It also includes timed dimming, cloud, storm, sunrise and acclimation modes as well as a height-adjustable tank mounting bracket included in the price.
The three channels are called Reef Daylight, Coral Violet and Fiji Blue, and are 9000-10000K, 440-390nm and 450nm respectively. It’s going to bring a lot of grown-up features to nano reef tanks around the 30-50 litres size. If you want more power to rival others in the marketplace, opt for the 50-watt P5 or the 90-watt P9. The Aquaray P2 Connect is priced around £160 in the UK.
