D-D Advanced ATO Comes with Float, Optical, and Flood Detection Sensors

D-D The Aquarium Solution has launched a new Auto Top Off device called Advanced ATO. It comprises a refill pump and hose, siphon break, and not one but three sensors, with alarms for when the water is too low, too high, when the pump is running dry, and if a flood is detected inside the cabinet or on the floor around the tank. An elongated optical sensor does the bulk of the water level detection on a daily basis, activating the top-off pump and detecting when the water level drops in the pump chamber via evaporation. 

Advanced ATO also comprises a separate float sensor which should be placed above the optical sensor, and acts as a backup emergency sensor or an alarm for if the water level in the sump suddenly rises, cutting out the top-off pump. The external leak detector offers added alerts in the event of either slow or rapid leaks where water is detected outside the sump area.
