Reef Zlements Complete ICP Combines Five Testing Machines In One
Marine chemistry company Reef Zlements has been shopping recently, buying a swanky new ICP-MS water testing machine to add to its existing ICP-OES service. MS stands for Mass Spec, and it can test some elements down to parts per trillion.
It’s not necessary for other much more abundant elements, however, so RZ has opted to use both testers to their individual testing strengths, combining ICP-OES and ICP-MS in one single testing service. What’s more, they’ve combined the two ICP testers with IC, titration, and UV-Vis spectrometry for unrivaled saltwater testing capability and lightning-fast turnaround for its users.
