We’re back!

After two crazy years of working in retail, cleaning ponds and doing DIY, we, (I,) am back, to sift through the world of saltwater aquarium and coral reef-related news.

A lot has happened within that time.

The whole world consumes its media differently, via video, and while scrolling through thousands of news items and content every day.

But there is still a lack of curation, explanation of what the news means to reefkeepers, how it affects them, and a lack of experienced moral code for what is right and wrong both in the hobby, and in the wider coral reef world.

And I’ve still been fully immersed in it within that time.

Fitting new equipment, setting up and maintaining reef tanks for clients, while at the same time taking a more pragmatic view on what works and what doesn’t, what’s necessary to succeed in reefing, and what isn’t.

Starting back up

I’m going to start by returning to news writing, as well as generating articles and giving my informed opinion.

I already have plenty to go at, but my aim is to return from warring retail faction to neutrality, championing the consumer as well as the Great British Aquarium Trade, and beyond.

So if you have any saltwater aquarium news, are holding an event, or launching a new product, please get in touch we me at jeremy@fishkeepingnews.com

Its a way of life, my passion, my addiction, and my career.

Its time to raise my head up above the cabinet doors again…
