Reef Guard Aquarium Covers are made from Actual Steel

British company Reef Guard has produced a range of aquarium jump guards manufactured from stainless steel. Traditionally our choice has comprised a net spanning either an aluminium frame, clear acrylic, or polycarbonate surround, but Reef Guard has opted for strength and an industrial look with perforated punched steel sheets with hexagonal holes and a brushed finish. With steel, strength is a given, but will it rust? Reef Guard is fabricated from 316 Stainless, the only steel grade that is truly rust-resistant in saltwater and the only steel we would allow near our tanks. The result is a unique-looking rigid aquarium cover that lets light and gases through, which won’t warp and should last a very long time.

Sizes

Reef Guard lists pre-made lids for most Red Sea Reefer aquarium models, plus custom sizes made to the dimensions of your choice. You can opt-in or out of cable cut out, light cut out and weir cut out as well as a feeding hole which comes with a Reef Guard Feeding Cup and  Lid

Prices

Prices range from £180 for a Red Sea Max Nano, to £567.27 for a Reef Peninsula 950.
