Neptune Systems Trident NP Now Shipping

It’s been a long wait for British Apex users but the Trident NP Nitrate and Phosphate testing machine is now here in number, and being sent out to stores around the UK. Trident is part of Neptune Systems’ Apex aquarium monitoring and control ecosystem, with the original Trident testing for Alkalinity, Calcium and Magnesium, before being joined by the Trident NP, which tests for Nitrate and Phosphate. The release of the NP not only allows Apex users to test for, control and action the big five water parameters, but with the right probes, the Apex system can also test for pH, salinity, ORP, and temperature as well as measure water levels, making the Apex probably the most complete system available and because of that, probably the most popular too. 

Potential buyers should note that the Trident NP is not a standalone tester and doser. It needs to be connected to one of the three current Apex modules and, ideally, a DOS Quiet Drive doser so that liquid products can be dosed accordingly to try to hold the N and P levels where the user requires them to be. If you run an Apex and have the budget, the Trident and Trident NP are a no-brainer when it comes to advanced reef tank monitoring and control.
