Alan Ashby Joins Aqua Group: A New Era for Leeds Store

Aquarium Industry figure Alan Ashby has joined Aqua Group as manager of their Leeds store. Alan is well known in the industry, owning and running Sixhills Aquatics in Grimbsy for many years as well as working with Vitalis. 

I visited Alan at his home some twenty years ago for Practical Fishkeeping Magazine where he was trailblazing by spawning Flame Angels, and breeding seahorses, as well as propagating corals and macroalgae. 

Since winding up Sixhills he has kept busy, breeding Japanese ranchu and setting up a tropical fish house in his shed. 

Aqua Group Leeds will cater for tropical freshwater and saltwater, while Aqua Group at Brookenby will provide Koi, reptiles and marines.
